Born in Pascagoula, MS, and raised in Semmes, AL, Tia Austin has been in the mortgage industry for five years. She began her career at CMG Financial in 2020 as a Junior Loan Officer, quickly advancing to Loan Officer within six months. In 2023, she transitioned to Union Home Mortgage as a Sales Team Lead before joining Aslan Home Lending.

Tia is a self-motivated professional with a knack for simplifying the home-buying process, particularly for first-time buyers. She was drawn to Aslan's strong, woman-owned leadership and its alignment with her values—especially since she sports a lion/woman tattoo that reflects her fearless spirit.

Outside of work, Tia enjoys spending time with her husband, Garrett, and their daughter, Sophia. She loves being on the water, hunting, cooking, and exploring homesteading. Recently, she has taken up crocheting and enjoys dreaming up home remodels—though her husband may not always share her enthusiasm!
