Meet Kristen!

Originally hailing from Port Orchard, Washington, Kristen has resided in Colorado since 2007. Kristen has worked in various customer-facing roles including working at Colorado State University before transitioning to mortgage lending in 2021.

Kristen describes her strengths as being highly communicative, allowing clients to feel at ease discussing sensitive topics. She emphasizes the importance of organization and being proactive, stating, "I try to always stay one (or more) steps ahead," which she believes facilitates smoother processes and reassures her clients.

In July 2024, Kristen joined the Aslan team, motivated by a referral from a friend who works as a Loan Officer there. After researching Aslan's reputation as a female-owned company and engaging with CEO Carrie Gusmus, she felt inspired by the team's accountability and work ethic. Kristen expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I am really feeling motivated to step up and kick but along with them."

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, a police officer in Fort Collins, Colorado. Together, they rescue dogs, explore local breweries and distilleries, and she has a particular passion for baking.
